Today, we raise our flags to celebrate with great joy and pride the lives of all those who have fought with incredible grit and courage to protect our liberty.
Veterans Day, celebrated on November 11 each year, honors those who have served in the military for the United States of America. Honor, which embodies all Army values, is the theme of this year’s Veterans’ Day celebration.
The US Army defines honor as a matter of carrying out, acting, and living the values of respect, duty, loyalty, selfless service, integrity, and personal courage in everything you do. Thus, it is only fitting for veterans to be celebrated with honor for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good.
After accomplishing years of active duty and service, veterans still have to face their own fights within. Over the past years, there has been a reported increase in the number of issues surrounding veterans. Public and private organizations, along with veterans themselves, have been working together to provide support and create more opportunities for veterans.
In honor of this day, Medstar Transportation will not only continue to give veterans the care they deserve but also work on expanding the range of services we can provide to improve their quality of life.
To our dear veterans, please know that we recognize your sacrifices, and each of you has left a name worth remembering. We honor your life, your grave, your family, your soul, your heart. You are loved. You are never forgotten.
