Labor Day marks the end of summer. For most people, it simply means a day off-- a time for picnics, parades, fireworks and other activities. But this 2021, as we reflect upon the challenges brought by the pandemic, Labor Day takes on a whole new meaning.
For the past year, we have seen how the American workforce-- our laborers-- have kept this country moving despite the healthcare crises and significant losses in the economic output. So today, we pay tribute to them, for all that they have done in keeping our nation prosperous and strong. Let us take a moment to reflect upon the true meaning of work and appreciate all those who have labored diligently from field to field, city to city, or desk to desk, to build up and bless our lives.
And as we celebrate Labor Day 2021, Medstar Transportation would also like to recognize some of our employees who are celebrating their work anniversaries this month of September. Though working for a transportation company has never been easy, these people have done a tremendous job in making sure that we are able to access safe and reliable rides 24/7.
