Lung health matters

During the month of July, we celebrate World Bronchiectasis Day. The declaration was announced by international lung health organizations from the United States, Europe, Australia, and Asia in order to promote public awareness of bronchiectasis and its rising prevalence in many nations.

So why does lung health matter? The Task Force for Lung Health emphasizes that you can have problems doing even the smallest task if you have lung problems. One of which is  Bronchiectasis, a lung disease characterized by enlarged or scarred airways that cannot clear mucus properly, resulting in recurring lung infections.

According to GAAPP, the advocacy aims to raise global awareness, share knowledge, and discuss ways to reduce the burden of Bronchiectasis for patients and their families worldwide as there is no cure to the disease yet. Medstar expresses its full support for this campaign as a community that promotes an enhanced quality of life. We can provide safe and reliable transportation services for the early detection and treatment of bronchiectasis, which may impact the longevity and welfare of people affected.

Let's work together to make this world easier to breathe in!
