Hours of Operation Paratransit:

Monday - Friday 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. 

first scheduled pick up is 6:15 a.m. and the latest scheduled pick up is 6:45 p.m. 

Saturday - 9:00 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

first scheduled pickup is 9:15 a.m. and the latest scheduled pick up is 6:45 p.m. 

Sunday - No Dial A Ride service.

About Selah Transit:

Selah Transit provides convenient, affordable public transportation to residents of Selah and the surrounding area through both fixed route and Dial-A-Ride services. Fixed route buses offer regular stops throughout the city with connections to Yakima and Union Gap, while Dial-A-Ride provides flexible, door-to-door transportation for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and others who need additional assistance. In partnership with Medstar, Selah Transit ensures all riders, regardless of mobility or circumstance, have access to safe, reliable, and ADA-compliant transportation for medical appointments, daily errands, and community activities.

  • Our trained drivers provide courteous door-to-door Dial-A-Ride service while maintaining consistent, reliable local loop route operations.

A: Fixed-route rides are $1.00 per boarding. Free transfer passes are available upon request. Riders must pay with exact change, as drivers do not carry cash.

Q: Where can I purchase a Selah Transit pass?

Monthly passes can be purchased at the Selah Civic Center or Selah City Hall. Daily passes may be obtained directly from bus drivers with exact fare.

Q: What is the cost for a Paratransit ride?

Paratransit rides cost $2.00 per boarding. Payment must be made in exact change at the time of service. Fare assistance may be available for qualified riders.

Q: How do I schedule a Paratransit ride in Selah?

To schedule, call Selah Transit at (509) 619-1639. Bookings must be made at least one day in advance and can be scheduled up to seven days ahead.

Q: What details are required to book a ride?

When scheduling, provide your full name, current address, appointment address, suite number (if applicable), and the time of your appointment or return.

Q: Can I request same-day Paratransit service in Selah?

No. Selah Dial-A-Ride does not offer same-day service. All rides must be scheduled in advance to ensure availability and appropriate vehicle dispatch.

Q: Can I bring a companion or personal care attendant (PCA) on my ride?

Yes. One companion may ride with you and must be scheduled at the same time. A PCA may also ride free if their assistance is noted in your eligibility documentation. Be sure to mention this when booking.
