Purpose, Principles, and Peace—Through Free Speech
Hi Team,
This moment reminds me of something bigger than one person: human rights need a society willing to find unity through common purpose, living by clear principles, and the pursuit of peace—through free speech and honest conversation. As I’ve researched beyond some of the clips and sound bites I find that we agree with Charlie Kirk in so many of our team's principles. We also stand up for free speech, freedom and want to uplift humanity.
What we FIRST stand for:
F. Free speech with responsibility
Speak up, listen well, and disagree without dehumanizing.I. Integrity over parties
Let values—service, accountability, honesty—guide the call.R. Respect every person
Dignity first: Every teammate and rider has inherent worth.S. Seek the truth
Check sources and context, avoid spreading rumors, and be fair.T. Talk to build peace
Choose dialogue over outrage; resolve before it escalates.
Some of us ground these commitments in faith, others in conscience or experience. That spirit of self-sacrifice in service of others, also shows up in countless secular traditions. Either way, the invitation is the same: be kind and live our values when it’s hard.
How we practice better DEBATE at work
D. Disagree better. Critique ideas, not people. Assume good intent; clarify before reacting.
E. Elevate accuracy. If you don’t know, say so. As you learn new facts, update.
B. Be kind. Choose words that heal more than they harm.
A. Assure safety. Zero tolerance for threats or intimidation—on the job, in vehicles, online, or at events.
T. Threats: None, ever. We intervene early and document/report.
E. Ensure access for all. We stand up for the oppressed, suppressed, and overlooked—especially people with disabilities and those who rely on us for access to care and community.
Disability rights and our mission
Two leaders who inspired our work: Judith Heumann, often called the “mother of the disability rights movement,” helped pave the way to the ADA and inclusion in schools and workplaces. Justin Dart Jr., the “godfather of the ADA,” traveled the nation to listen, unify, and push for equal rights. Their legacy is why our service matters and why every safe, respectful, on-time ride is a small act of justice.
Help us build a culture where people can speak, learn, and grow—together.
Thank you for showing up with conviction and compassion to serve. Let’s keep living our purpose, holding to our principles, and making peace—one conversation and one ride at a time.
With respect and resolve,
Justin Bergener
CEO
